Are You Planning Foods For Football Season Events Already?

Are you pretty much a fanatic when it comes to football season? Maybe you are the type of person who marks special football games on your calendar so that you won't plan anything that will interfere with you watching the games at home. Whether it's high school football, college football, or professional football, you're probably pretty excited about the fact that fall and football will be here in just a few weeks.

As you plan for football season, maybe you're looking forward to having friends over to your house to watch certain games. If that's the case, from serving chicken wings to choosing foods for football events away from home, here are some ideas that might help you.

Menu For At Home Football Games - Wings, wings, and more wings! Do you know a single person who doesn't like chicken wings? Maybe you know somebody who doesn't like extremely hot and spicy chicken wings, but that doesn't mean that he or she doesn't love barbecued chicken wings, right? When you host others at your house to watch football games with you, think of ordering chicken wings in many different styles. For example, besides the traditional barbecue and spicy wings, think of ordering teriyaki or chipotle chicken wings.

Dipping sauces to go along with the chicken wings will just add to the taste. For example, besides ranch dressing dip and barbecue sauce, consider having honey, grape jelly, apple jelly and maple syrup on the table. You're probably already thinking about buying chips and other dips, right? However, consider having a platter full of fresh foods that are easy to eat without being sliced. For example, orange slices, tiny tomatoes, grapes, baby carrots, and edamame are just a few of the fresh foods that are both delicious and easy to serve.

Menu For Games Away From Home - If you're planning to go to games away from your home town, will you be traveling with just your family, or will you be joining friends. For example, if you're going to a high school football game, maybe you are traveling with friends whose kids go to the same high school that your children attend.

No matter who you're traveling with, you'll eventually have to eat, right? Think of finding a restaurant that sells chicken wings. The restaurant will more than likely have many different styles of wings, along with things like baked potato skins, sweet potato fries, regular French fries, and other foods that go great with wings.

Don't forget dessert. Whether you're at home where you can pull out ice cream sandwiches or whether you're away from home and want to go to an ice cream shop, doesn't that sound like the perfect dessert for a meal that included chicken wings?
